Reporting to the Director of Facilities and Operations, you will lead a dynamic team in managing the gallery’s physical space, ensuring that our environment remains both welcoming and functional. You will oversee everything from day-to-day maintenance and event support to the crucial systems that keep our building comfortable and safe. Your expertise will help us provide an exceptional experience for our visitors while maintaining the highest standards for our collection. This role contributes to the overall success of the Building Services team and ensures that all processes and operations contribute to the Gallery’s strategic direction and the divisional goals.
What You Bring to the Role
You have a minimum of three to five years of relevant leadership experience, including extensive professional experience and comprehensive knowledge in managing a building operations department including building systems, facility operations, maintenance and mechanical/electrical principles, process and procedures, physical asset inventory and control procedures. Experience in a non-profit or customer service focused organization is an asset. Fifth Class Power Engineering Certification or higher is preferred.

Compensation and Work Environment
This is an excluded (non-unionized), permanent role. The compensation package is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and ability. This is an in-office position at the Gallery’s downtown Vancouver location.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year
