Property Manager Assistant - Full Time
M’akola Housing Society – Vancouver, BC

Position Summary

Reporting to the Property Manager, this position provides a range of confidential and administrative functions to support the regional property management office. The Property Manager Assistant (PMA) is responsible for the overall flow of work for the regional office, they provide exceptional customer service to our tenants, and support with filling vacant units while being mindful of M’akola’s vision and values. 

This position is full-time, permanent, Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week based out of the Sawmill Regional Office in Vancouver. This position starts at $28 per hour.

Requirements

·       Certificate/diploma in related field

·       At least 3 years of administrative experience

·       Combination of related education and experience will be considered

·       Experience working with computers and MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)

·       Lease-up experience and supporting to fill vacant units through marketing is an asset

·       Experience working in and with the Indigenous community preferred

Other

·       First Aid – Level 1, certification covered by MHS

·       WHMIS training, covered by MHS

·       Willing to participate in personal and professional development

·       Willing travel for occasional M’akola events

·       Prepared to work outside of regular business hours on occasion

·       Follow M’akola Housing Society policies and procedures; and

·       Provide a clear Criminal Record Check.
