Who we are:
iHuman Youth Society (“iHuman”) is a non-profit organization operating since 1997 whose mission is to serve marginalized youth; promoting their inclusion in the community through crisis intervention, arts, mentorship, and life skills development programming.
iHuman embraces everyone. From cultivating a culture where all employees can bring their best selves to work to deploying diverse initiatives that support our youth, we’re doing what it takes to build a more equitable workplace and world. Our name comes from an Inuit term identifying the symbiotic relationship of the individual within the collective community; ‘one for all and all for one’. iHuman offers a creative work environment that impacts vulnerable and marginalized youth positively.
About the Role:
Reporting to the iSucceed Program Manager, the iSucceed Youth Navigator is the welcoming face of iHuman and exemplifies the values that constitute our "trust compass". Working in partnership with the community Outreach team at iHuman, and through close collaboration with outreach workers across the Coordinated Youth Response (CYR) of Edmonton, this position provides general support as the first point of contact when entering the iSucceed space at iHuman. This person will meet our youth's Basic and Harm Reduction needs and actively help connect them to all elements of youth programming and services within iHuman. The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple interruptions and remain calm in the face of frustration is essential.
This is a full time role working 37.5 hours/week. The range of the hourly wage is $19 to $21.50/hour. After completing the probation period, employees are offered generous health and dental benefits.
