Pricing Analyst

The Role:
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Pricing Analyst will support the Director in GCA pricing-related project and initiatives. The individual will have prior experience related to revenue & margin analysis along with forecasting capabilities. The Pricing Analyst will bring a demonstrated understanding of pricing analytics, margin expansion and sensitivity analysis.
What your Day Looks Like (To Include but not Limited to):
Pricing Strategy Development: Develop and refine pricing strategies that align with GCA strategic priorities and objectives by:
•Recommending pricing strategies that align closely with market trends and identifying new market segments.
•Developing dynamic pricing tools to effectively respond to changing market needs and trends.
•Working closely with internal stakeholder to review, plan and implement competitive pricing.
•Reviewing, analyzing and proposing/amending pricing strategies, pricing errors and opportunities.
•Forecasting revenue and market share based on market trends, programming costs, profit margins, and sales volumes.
Market Research: Keeping informed on pricing analysis methods and industry trends by:
•Monitoring industry trends, competitor pricing strategies, and market demand to ensure pricing remains competitive.
•Providing insights into pricing opportunities and risks.
Financial Modelling & Data Analysis: Develop and analyze financial models to evaluate how pricing adjustments affect revenue, margins, and overall profitability by:
•Applying statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability.
•Performing scenario analysis to explore potential pricing outcomes and assess various market conditions.
•Preparing P&L for new and existing programming and services.
•Preparing reports, presentations as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop the right strategy to be successful with profitable growth (reach and revenue) opportunities.
What you Bring to the Role:
•University Degree in Finance/Business or related field preferred.
•At least 3 years of progressive analysis experience required.
•Demonstrated ability to work remotely and available to attend in person meetings when necessary.
•Highly motivated with strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.
•Strong financial and general accounting knowledge.
•Professional with a high level of business acumen.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, Leveraging MS Excel modeling and data management capabilities.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressures.
•Proactive – able to identify opportunities of improvements.
•Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.
•Satisfactory current Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.
•Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.
•Must have fully operational office and reliable internet at home.
