Early Childhood Educator – Part-time/Casual
The Edmonton Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC) is looking for Early Childhood Educators on a part-time/casual basis to work at our Daycare, where we focus on creating a safe and secure environment where children can grow and develop.
The MFRC Daycare offers a unique experience for the children and our staff. We offer a rich learning environment with a large outdoor play space, nearby trails and visits from military units on base. We believe in the importance of team and strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment that values the individuality of children, families and staff.
Desired Skills:
• A demonstrated understanding of Provincial licensing policies and standards.
• A proactive approach to encouraging positive behaviours and resolving conflicts.
• Ability to think creatively while planning appropriate activities that will promote an exciting learning environment for the children.
Requirements:
• Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Alberta Child Development Certification (Level 1, 2 or 3)
• Valid first aid and CPR.
• Successful completion of a clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Check and clear Child Welfare Intervention Check.
The salary range for this position is $16 – 18 per hour.
