JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing, and executing multi family housing and other asset projects from inception to completion. This includes ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. The Project Manager will work closely with the leadership team, and stakeholders to achieve project goals and support the organization’s mission.

The Project Manager works in person at the Matheson Seniors property located at 11445-135 Street with typical working hours from 8:00-16:30, Monday to Friday. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define the scope of projects, and deliverables in collaboration with the leadership team and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and manage project tasks to ensure all milestones are met on time
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning through execution and closure
  • Monitor project performance and proactively address potential risks or issues
  • Track costs, approve payment, and monitor the project’s budget
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communication
  • Ensure project documentation is maintained and up to date
  • Continuously improve project management processes and tools

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum five years’ experience with managing housing projects
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred
  • Proficiency in project management processes and software
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage time efficiently to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with risk management and effective management of budgets
  • Maintain a clear Criminal Record Check
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
