We Are Looking for a Passionate Registered Dietitian to Join Our Team!

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Dietitian with expertise in whole food, and plant-based nutrition to work with a diverse patient population. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative healthcare program that blends clinical care with research, focusing on long-term health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop personalized, plant-based meal plans tailored to patients' cultural and dietary preferences.
  • Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and education to patients managing obesity, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and other metabolic conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and health coaches, to deliver holistic care that respects the diverse needs of our patients.
  • Educate patients on the benefits of adopting a whole food, plant-based diet and support their journey toward sustainable dietary changes.
  • Develop culturally relevant resources to address the unique challenges of serving patients from various backgrounds and communities.
  • Participate in program development, quality improvement, and research initiatives focused on advancing nutrition and chronic disease management.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) licensed to practice in Ontario through the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
  • Demonstrated expertise in whole food, plant-based dietary recommendations, and nutrition counseling.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and a deep understanding of cultural dietary preferences and barriers to health.
  • Strong communication and motivational skills to support patients in achieving their health goals.
  • A passion for evidence-based practice and a commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Experience in weight management, diabetes care, cardiovascular health, or metabolic disease is an asset.
