Youth Engagement Coordinator

McCreary Centre Society is seeking to hire a Youth Engagement Coordinator to support McCreary’s youth groups, and youth engaged research and evaluation projects. This position will focus on supporting the Youth Research Academy, sharing McCreary data with youth through an interactive workshop, and conducting interviews and focus groups with youth who have government care experience in BC.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience working with youth, experience facilitating groups and conducting interviews, knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods, experience preparing reports and other dissemination materials for youth and community audiences, and strong facilitation and interview skills.

Salary: $54,167 per year, for 37.5 hours a week. Employees are entitled to health benefits upon completion of 6 months of employment. Additional benefits include professional development and health and wellness funding, and an optional RRSP scheme.
