The Camp Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day logistical needs of the Summer Camp. This person will play a pivotal role supporting the Church in providing a quality and enriching experience to campers and staff, making sure that operations run smoothly by handling all logistical needs of operations.

The Camp Program Coordinator’s tasks include:
Participate in facilitating the staff training sessions alongside the Camp Director.
Supervise and coach the Camp Leaders and Camp Counsellors on how to successfully complete their daily tasks, providing feedback and identifying challenges and areas of improvement.
Monitor the day-to-day operations of the camp to ensure that Summer Camp runs smoothly.
Communicate effectively with the Camp Director and other staff members as per summer camp operations.
Support Camp Director with incident resolution, children behavior concerns, first aid reports or parent communication as needed.
Ensure designated areas (indoors, outdoors and offsite) are free of hazards and are safe to operate on a daily basis.
Conduct routine safety inspections.
Work alongside the Administrative Assistant and under the supervision of the Camp Director to arrange for weekly field trips.
Assign volunteer tasks and scheduling logistics as needed.
Demonstrate appropriate behavior and use appropriate language at all times.
Assist Camp Staff as needed to ensure Camp Program Success
Attend meetings and services as scheduled.
