Place des Arts is seeking committed, enthusiastic, and qualified Music Teachers with experience to teach private
lessons on Sundays during our 2025/2026 season. The candidates must be passionate about teaching and interact
well with students of different ages and abilities. We are currently seeking private teachers for the following
instruments:
• Piano
• Violin
• Cello
• Brass/Woodwinds
PLACE DES ARTS
Place des Arts provides quality arts education in visual arts, music, dance and theatre for all ages and skill levels. We
offer a friendly, non-competitive environment where students are encouraged to learn and develop an appreciation of

QUALIFICATIONS
• A Bachelor of Music or equivalent experience
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience, working with students of various ages and abilities in a private
lesson setting

• Proficient in teaching a variety of ages and abilities
• Highly responsible and punctual
• Thoughtful, energetic and passionate about teaching
• Ability to teach other wind instruments an asset

REQUIREMENTS
All teachers are required to obtain and provide a Police Information Check with a vulnerable sector check prior to
commencing work.
REMUNERATION
Starting at $48 per hour. Instructors are contracted to a self-employment agreement. Place des Arts coordinates
studio space, scheduling, registration and program promotions.
