About the opportunity:
As the Services Area Manager (SAM), you are accountable for strategies of community planning and development in your service area in an assigned geographic area or region of British Columbia. Modelling the way by living CLBC's core values and philosophies through specific events and functions and through direction/supervision of staff including the concept of Full Citizenship, Person-Centered Planning, Quality of Life, and Focus on Community. Through a combination of contracted resources and community options, supports and services are delivered to maintain or improve the quality of life for CLBC-eligible individuals.
A central function of the SAM role is to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of CLBC contracted services that are fiscally responsible, consistent, and portable to support the safety, security, and well-being of individuals. Additionally, the SAM sets a tone for collaborative and cooperative operations within their service area and works with Service Delivery Managers (SDMs) to allocate and oversee their service area budget.
