The Film Sales and Marketing Coordinator supports the global sales and marketing efforts for the Stratford Festival’s catalogue of filmed productions. Reporting to the Director of Film Production and Distribution or designate, this role is responsible for expanding the reach of the Festival’s digital streaming platforms, with a focus on growing institutional subscriptions in schools, libraries, and organizations worldwide. The Coordinator will also manage relationships with licensing partners, deliver marketing assets, attend market conferences, and maintain accurate reporting and CRM systems. This position plays a key role in supporting the department’s vision to connect with global audiences through digital theatre production and distribution.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Licensing

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with current and prospective international licensing partners.
  • Identify new global licensing opportunities and lead outreach efforts to expand the Festival’s digital and educational subscriber base.
  • Identify and attend relevant market conferences and industry events as a representative of the Stratford Festival’s streaming platforms and digital offerings.

Marketing and Outreach

  • Collaborate with the Festival’s marketing team to strategize and execute global outreach campaigns.
  • Support digital growth initiatives such as improving SEO, creating and distributing marketing materials, and developing targeted communications.
  • Develop and maintain CRM systems and subscriber trackers to optimize outreach and engagement.

Subscriber Services

  • Provide exceptional service to current, lapsed, and new subscribers, including onboarding, demos, invoicing, and account management.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and technical requests, ensuring subscriber satisfaction.

Asset Management and Reporting

  • Oversee asset management for new releases and 3rd-party content, including delivery to partners and platforms.
  • Prepare and distribute regular viewership and revenue reports for internal stakeholders and licensors.
  • Adhere to the Stratford Festival Health & Safety Commitment and Procedures and ensure that safe work practices and policies are supported and enforced within reporting structure.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary diploma program, typically a two year program, or equivalent, (i.e. Community college, Technical Institute or Trade School, etc.) in film and digital media, arts administration, or business.
  • 1 to 2 years of related experience
  • Proven experience in B2B and B2C sales and international business development.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed KPIs.
  • Experience working within educational sectors and/or streaming/OTT platforms considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and the ability to analyze subscriber data for strategic planning.
  • Experience managing revenue reporting and digital asset delivery processes.
  • Skilled in creating marketing content using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to represent the organization publicly.

This is an eight month full-time contract position, with the possibility of an extension.
