Organization: Right To Play International

Department/Division: Canadian National Office            

Reports to: Donor Analytics Officer, Individual Giving

Work Location: Toronto, Canada

Work Arrangement: A combination of minimum 2 in-office days per week, and remote-working in accordance with Right To Play’s work arrangement and the operational needs of the department

Target Hiring Salary: $17.20 per hour

Target Start Date: June 2nd, 2025

Contract Duration: 8 weeks

ELIGIBILITY:

This job is funded by The Government of Canada through the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program. Only candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be considered.

 

Eligible participants must be:

  • between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
  • Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or persons to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; and
  • have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.

 

International students are not eligible.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

#1: Individual Giving Analysis and Support (50% of Time):

  • Data reporting support: support Donor Analytics Officer in producing reports for the Individual Giving team and the Canadian National office as a whole
  • Data and Process mapping to produce clear documentation
  • Donor Analytics Project: Research donor prospecting methods and execute self-directed donor analysis project to identify potential prospects in our database

#2: Finance and Business Operations Team Support (30%):

  • Data maintenance: help with data hygiene by updating of MCRM (updating Contact records and Opportunities, merging duplicates, prepping import files, preparing, reviewing and revising reports to increase data integrity.
  • Events support: support the team in Finance and Operations tasks for our summer events through OneCause, our events platform

#3: Other support as needed (20%):

  • Provide administrative support to other CNO teams
  • Provide support to Events team for summer events and in preparation and execution of Gala (June 11, 2025)

WHAT YOU’LL BRING (ESSENTIAL):

EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION:

  • Working towards completion OR completion of post-secondary education with a degree or diploma in data analytics/science, business administration, accounting or related fields.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience supporting the planning and coordination of projects, experience with maintaining tracking documents/spreadsheets, and other project management tools.
  • Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, experiences, etc.

 

COMPETENCIES/PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • Able to manage competing priorities and deliver tasks and projects on spec and on time.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic environment and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
  • Eager to learn new skills and seek out knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, adaptability and flexibility are critical.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and collaborative, supportive mindset.
  • A confident oral and written communicator.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with Office 365, particularly advanced Excel skills.

 

BONUS IF YOU’LL BRING (NOT ESSENTIAL):

  • Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or equivalent system
  • Familiarity with a CRM (MCRM or other Microsoft Dynamics based CRMs, Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, Donorperfect)
  • Familiarity with Third Party Events platforms such as OneCause, Raisely, CVent, Eventbrite
  • Experience handling and analyzing large amounts of data
  • Experience with SQL or Python
