Contract Duration:
Full-time, 8-week contract

ELIGIBILITY:

This job is funded by The Government of Canada through the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program. Only candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be considered.

 

Eligible participants must be:

  • between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
  • Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or persons to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; and
  • have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.

 

International students are not eligible.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Benefits Review Support

  • Assist in reviewing international health insurance plan documents across Right To Play’s countries of operation.
  • Analyze and compare benefits using established templates and guidelines.
  • Summarize key information and provide insights to support internal decision-making.
  • Contribute to recommendations on minimum and maximum benefit levels.

Wellness Program Coordination

  • Research and identify wellness program providers suitable for a global workforce.
  • Collaborate with selected providers to coordinate wellness sessions for staff.
  • Track attendance and gather participant feedback to measure impact.
  • Design and distribute pulse surveys using Culture Amp to assess engagement.

Administrative & Team Support

  • Participate in regular team meetings and learning sessions to deepen your understanding of global HR and Total Rewards.
  • Provide administrative support to the Rewards & Payroll Specialist on ongoing initiatives and special projects.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING (ESSENTIAL):

  • Interest in human resources or previous work experience in human resources. 
  • Advanced research and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and willingness to follow established formats and instructions
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good communication skills and eagerness to learn
  • Strong command of English
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program related to Human Resources, Health Policy, Public Administration, or a similar field

 

BONUS IF YOU’LL BRING (NOT ESSENTIAL):

  • Coursework or school projects related to Human Resources
  • Experience working on school or volunteer projects that involved reviewing documents or working with data
  • An interest in international organizations or nonprofit work
