As a Communications and Fundraising Coordinatoryou’ll play a key role in bringing our brand, fundraising, and donor engagement initiatives to life. From managing integrated campaigns to crafting compelling digital content, you'll gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment. Reporting to the Director, Brand & Communications, you’ll help execute mass-marketing campaigns, develop content for social media, email, and web, and engage with our community to drive fundraising success.

Areas of Responsibility: 

  • Project Manage Campaigns – Coordinate multi-channel marketing and fundraising initiatives, working closely with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Create Impactful Content – Write and design social media posts, email campaigns, and digital assets that inspire action.
  • Engage with Supporters – Build relationships with fundraisers, donors, and community organizations to grow our network of champions.
  • Support Digital Marketing – Help manage social media, website updates, and email marketing to maximize engagement.
  • Contribute to Fundraising Success – Develop creative tools, resources, and content to support donor stewardship and peer-to-peer fundraising efforts.

Requirements: 

  • Early-career professional (1-3 years of experience) in communications, marketing, public relations, fundraising, or a related field.
  • A creative storyteller with strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • A team player who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, anti-racism and decolonization. 
  • Passion for making a difference - non-profit experience is a plus!
