We are looking for one remarkable Sexual Trauma Therapist who is a team player, shows initiative, is friendly, fun, highly organized, creative, likes to get things done and knows when to relax. This position will be responsible for providing sexual trauma specific therapy to survivors of all genders and their families, one on one therapy, and facilitating weekly support and psycho-educational groups. Responsibilities include:
- One on one sexual trauma specific therapy
- Provide crisis intervention
- Facilitate support and psychoeducational groups
- Caseload, outcome, and applicable file management
- Ability to work as part of a fast paced, multi-disciplinary team

Qualifications:
- Individuals with a master’s degree in a human services discipline with a clinical focus; a combination of experience and education may be considered. Additionally, individuals completing a master’s program may be considered and supported through practicum.
- Current member in good standing with the applicable regulatory body.
- Experience running support and psycho-educational groups.
- Clinical experience and relevant training specific to working with individuals who have experienced sexual trauma.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the provision of trauma counselling.
- Experience working with children and youth is a strong asset.
- Strong community development and event coordination skills.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Talented in prioritizing and managing multiple work tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software and computers.
- Class 5 license.
