Our REALTOR®‑led training, Indigenous partnerships, and community‑bond financing model positions us to scale impact across BritishColumbia and beyond.

The Opportunity

Our Board seeks a mission‑driven CEO to turn our proven concept into a Canada‑wide force for inclusive housing. You will execute the vision, secure capital, build a small high‑performing team, and steward partnerships that enable thousands of new homes.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead & scale Shape and execute a multi‑year strategic plan; grow the organization from start‑up to province‑wide operations, with expansion to Ontario byQ12026.
  • Mobilize capital Raise $200K$500K from impact investors and other sources.
  • Drive projects Support modular supply chains and permitting for small‑scale multi‑unit developments under Bill44. Launch and execute the I Invest In Housing Campaign. Lead the development of a model for Non Profit Housing Development Corporations.
  • Champion community Guide Community Housing Ambassador training, public engagement, and NIMBY‑resistant messaging while embedding UNDRIP principles in every initiative.
  • Build culture Recruit, coach, and inspire a multidisciplinary team while upholding strong governance, risk management, and impact‑measurement practices.

What You Bring

  • Proven scale‑up leadership Several years of senior experience leading a social‑purpose or real‑estate venture from early stage to sustained success.
  • Capital‑raising expertise Demonstrated success securing philanthropy, government funding, and private impact capital.
  • Sector fluency Deep understanding of small‑scale multi‑unit housing, pro‑forma modelling, and BC planning policy (zoning, density bonuses, inclusionary housing).
  • Partnership mindset Track record of brokering multi‑party deals and maintaining high‑trust relationships with developers, municipalities, and Indigenous communities. Embrace Four Pillars community-centric vision.
  • Inclusive, servant leadership Empowers diverse teams and stakeholders; communicates complex ideas with clarity and empathy.

Nice‑to‑have: experience structuring community‑bond or RRSP‑eligible offerings; bilingualism; lived experience in communities most impacted by the housing crisis.

Compensation

We recognise that building FourPillars Community Housing is a marathon, not a sprint, and we want our CEO to share in the long‑term value we create together.

  • Initial engagement Commit 10–12hours per week for the first six months and receive 5% founding equity (shares or options, subject to standard vesting).
  • Optional equity purchase As outlined in our business plan, you may acquire an additional 15% stake for$150,000 during this initial period.
  • Path to full‑time leadership At six months, if both you and the Board agree we’re the right fit, we’ll negotiate a comprehensive package that may include further equity and a market‑competitive salary tied to performance milestones.
