Compensation: $69,000 - $75,000 per annum, plus a generous benefit and Pension Package

About the Job:
The Program Manager, Murray reports directly to the Director, Supportive Housing Programs & Tenant Relations, and is responsible for supervising and supporting the front line and custodial staff, as well as ensuring effective program/service delivery consistent with Atira’s mandate, philosophy and policies, as well as our legal, contractual, budgetary and other requirements; and develop long-range program plans that meet Atira’s goals and objectives. You will maintain a strong working relationship with and awareness of partner agencies and groups in the community for the purpose of creating positive relationships and ensure all of your work is conducted in a professional and efficient manner in compliance with Atira Property Management Inc.’s policies, all regulatory requirements, and within the mission, vision, values and philosophy of our parent Society.
About You:

You have a well-developed understanding of and commitment to anti-oppression work and intersectionality. You are familiar with colonialism especially as it applies in Canada and you understand the impact of the residential school system. You are committed to working with folks who are struggling with substance use and or mental wellness and understand and are comfortable working within a harm reduction environment. Lived expertise is a significant asset, as is living in the community in which you work. Atira strives to hire staff who reflect the people we serve.
You Have/Will be Required to Have:
• Three to five years of Managing experience in the social-justice sector or related field
• Master’s degree in social work or in a relevant field is preferred. Relevant undergrad degree and or diploma with the equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
• NVCI Certification is required
• First Aid certification is required
• All positions are subject to a criminal records review (Submitted by Atira)
