New Beginnings Recovery Home is a BIPOC-owned residential addiction and mental health centre committed to trauma-informed, culturally safe care. We are currently expanding our hybrid programming and are looking for a qualified professional to facilitate weekly virtual sessions and coordinate with our in-house staff for documentation and client care continuity.
We are seeking a skilled mental health or addiction professional to create and deliver weekly virtual recovery sessions and ensure coordination with our internal team for:
Billing alignment
Progress note submission
Clinical continuity
This role is ideal for someone who already facilitates groups and is confident using digital tools to engage clients virtually.
Facilitate 3-5 weekly virtual session (group or individual-based, depending on program needs) (*SESSIONS will be in the evenings*)
Ensure each session is trauma-informed, recovery-focused, and inclusive
Communicate with New Beginnings staff for:
Progress note handoff
Attendance tracking
Billing coordination
Participate in brief monthly check-ins or team huddles (virtual)
Maintain confidentiality and comply with PHIPA and professional standards
Registered professional in Ontario (e.g., RP, RSW, Psychotherapist, etc.)
Strong virtual facilitation skills (experience with addiction, trauma, or mental health preferred)
Familiar with writing progress notes and participating in clinical coordination
Able to work independently but collaborate smoothly with staff
Comfortable with Zoom or similar video platforms.
Per session or hourly rate – negotiable based on credentials and experience
