Job Overview:
Terra Centre for Teen Parents is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to oversee an integrated portfolio of programs supporting young parents and their children to strengthen their capacity and well-being. The Director, Young Families Integrated Services ensures that all programs are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, equity-centered, and aligned with the organization’s mission, empowering young parents to succeed. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Director models organizational culture, implements strategic initiatives, and fosters collaborative relationships within the agency and with external stakeholders. The Director provides oversight of select participant-based services as well as leadership in program management and evaluation, driving continuous improvement and creative responses to the evolving needs of young families. By championing excellence and accountability, the Director ensures positive outcomes and sustainable impact across services.
Key Responsibilities: The Director of Integrated Youth and Family Services is a key leadership role responsible for guiding the strategic direction, development, and implementation of programs that support teen moms, dads and their children
Supports for Educational Achievement at Braemar School (SEA) – includes Relentless Empowerment Coaches, Pathways (includes youth leadership/post high school support) and Strengthening Hope financial supports
Family Learning Program – includes home visitation, intake services, housing supports, and group programming, services for young dads
The Director ensures effective, responsive, and data-driven program delivery that aligns with Terra’s mission to support teen parents in achieving success for themselves and their families

The position will work at Terra main office located at 10320-146 Street. This is a full time 35 hours/week position Monday to Friday but may require occasional evenings and weekends based on program delivery and the needs of families.

Compensation: The starting salary for the position is $90, 000 – $115,000.
Upon completion of a probationary period, we offer a comprehensive, competitive, extended health benefits package including RRSP contribution. Staff receive 12 Wellness Days a year and three weeks of vacation. In addition, the agency is closed between Christmas and New Years.
Terra Centre also offers free onsite or street parking depending on office location. We are also a casual business attire organization.
