The Role:
The Coordinator, Group Services provides operational and administrative support to the respite and camp departments.
What your Day Looks Like:
•Conducts ongoing client and family intake meetings, screenings, and assessments to determine program fit and eligibility. Collaborate with Supervisor to develop cohesive group pairings (staff/client).
•Manages program registration to include: creating programs on Amilia, registering clients, managing client waitlists, making registration adjustments, updating Salesforce etc.
•Manages program registrations finances to include; processing refunds, liaising with accounting, creating and implementing payment plans, creating custom invoices, adjusting payments based on program grants and subsidies, etc. Conducting orientations, collecting client documents, liaising with families to develop ISP’s, and collecting caregiver data.
•Program development and quality assurance oversight to include: pre/post data collection, develop and administer parent training materials, monitoring current program offerings in the sector.
•Assists Supervisor with hiring and onboarding staff to include: pre-screening interviews, training staff (e.g. CPI, policies and procedures, etc.), attending job fairs for recruitment.
•Assists Supervisor with developing and planning marketing material to include: social media posts, community outreach, updating website, newsletter content, attending program fairs.
•Manages client related documentation to include: collecting, reviewing and organizing all client documentation, ensuring documentation is up to date, sharing relevant updates with team members, creating ISP in partnership with caregivers, etc.
•Meets regularly with Program Coordinator and Intake team.
•Assist with ensuring programs areas and clients understand and follow all GCA polices and procedures to include Health and Safety responsibilities.
•Participates in team and staff meetings regularly and to contribute to program development initiatives within the team and across the GCA.
•Other administrative and program duties as assigned.
What you Bring to the Role:
•University degree in relevant field.
•At least 4 years’ experience working in a related discipline including providing support to families with ASD.
•Previous experience working with children with developmental disabilities and/or Autism.
•Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
•Demonstrate strength as a team player.
•Effective problem solving and judgement skills.
•Superior organizational and time management skills.
•Must be proficient with various computer programs.
•Vulnerable Sector Screening.
Working Conditions
•Flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
•Managing challenging client behaviours.
•If working remotely, has a suitably furnished office that is secure and safe.
Salary: $66,780-74,115
