Position Overview
We are currently seeking a highly professional, compassionate, and self- motivated individual to

PCAP is a proven, relationship-based home visitation program that supports pregnant or parenting
women who are at risk due to substance use. This role involves building long-term, trusting

Key Responsibilities

•     Collaborate with community agencies to develop comprehensive care plans.
•     Empower families to access services related to addiction recovery, mental health, parenting,
housing, and child development.
•     Maintain accurate, timely documentation using program-specific databases.
•     Work independently in the field while maintaining consistent communication with the program
supervisor.
Qualifications
•     Post-secondary education in Social Services, Psychology, or a related human services field.
•     Experience working with families affected by substance use, addictions, Fetal Alcohol
Spectrum Disorder (FASD), and mental health challenges.
•     Solid understanding of child development and trauma-informed practice.
•     Demonstrated ability to build rapport with high-risk families in a non- judgmental and
culturally sensitive manner.
•     Strong organizational, time management, and crisis intervention skills.
•     Effective verbal and written communication skills.
•     Proficient with technology and comfortable using data tracking systems.
•     Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
•     Must have a valid Alberta Driver’s License, access to a reliable vehicle,
and the ability to travel.
•     A current Criminal Record Check (with Vulnerable Sector Search) and Child Intervention Record
Check are required.

Why Join Us?
At FSCA, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a passionate, mission- driven team in a
