Are you a passionate leader ready to drive meaningful change in your community? We’re looking for a dynamic Manager of Housing to lead our dedicated team and champion innovative, client-centered housing solutions.

What You’ll Do

As the Manager of Housing, you’ll play a key leadership role in shaping and delivering impactful housing programs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading People: Recruit, supervise, and support a talented team, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
  • Driving Program Success: Oversee and continuously evaluate housing program impact, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Building Partnerships: Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to strengthen client care initiatives and resolve challenges.
  • Ensuring Accountability: Conduct audits, maintain data integrity, contribute to Ministry reporting, and respond to client or community concerns.
  • Managing Operations: Oversee case management functions, ensure health and safety standards, and monitor adherence to the program budget.
  • Promoting Services: Implement creative marketing strategies, such as facilitating community presentations, to raise program awareness and engagement.

Position Details

  • Hours: 37.5 hours/week | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
  • Contract End Date: February 28, 2027

Requirements and Qualifications

  • College diploma in related Social/Human Sciences
  • Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience in a related field
  • Current and demonstrated knowledge in working in bed-based environments, homelessness, substance use and mental health.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with databases
  • Accessibility to reliable transportation
  • Mediation, conflict resolution, leadership skills
  • Ability to manage occasional exposure to vicarious traumatic stress
  • Please also note that the successful candidate will be required to provide a police vulnerable sector check as a condition of employment; however, strong consideration is made to the type of offense
