Job Posting 107617

Medical Secretary
London InterCommunity Health Centre
London area
closes in 4 days (Wed, 6 Aug)
full time  •  $39,000 - $43,000

This role will be based at our Argyle site, greeting callers and visitors, providing information, and directing inquiries to the appropriate place. Checking clients in and booking their next appointment as well as offering administrative support to clinicians (resource sharing, chart management, scanning/faxing) means this position is critical to smooth clinical flow.

The Medical Secretary plays a key role in maintaining the overall welcoming tone of the reception area and responds effectively to problems and difficult situations that may arise. As the first point of contact for clients, many of whom are newcomers to Canada, this role must be sensitive to the barriers that many individuals face when accessing health care services. This position involves a high regard for confidentiality and compassionate understanding; high attention to detail is crucial.
