About the Position:

The Integrated Women's Entrepreneurship Project is a multi-regional project that supports underserved women entrepreneurs to gain access to trainings, advisory and resources that they require to start up business, scale up, and access new markets.

The Project Lead works with the Associate Director and is responsible for meeting the service outcomes of the Integrated Women's Entrepreneurship Project, supervising team members in BC, as well as leading the coordination and integration activities of the project in multiple regions across Canada.  This position is accountable for service planning, monitoring, quality service delivery, and reporting.

 

Reports to: Associate Director, Employment & Entrepreneurship Services

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for service delivery ensuring quantified service targets are met with optimal qualitative outcomes in accordance with contractual requirements and performance measurements as set out by the project funder
  • Coordinates service delivery activities including program marketing and participant recruitment, data collection, and reporting
  • Assists in developing project-specific administrative policies and protocols to effectively coordinate project delivery in multiple regions across Canada
  • Enhances collaborative relationships with project partners through implementing and strengthening professional practices
  • Achieves project objectives and outcomes
  • Identifies best practices of service delivery and provides subsequent monitoring
  • Creates new partnerships; collaborates with existing internal and external partners to strengthen and maintain cleint resource relationships
  • Takes a leadership role in project partner meetings
  • Ensures project expenditures are within approved budget parameters
  • Oversees the entrepreneurial skills training and client services
  • Assists in identifying business mentors
  • Maintains project files, client databases(s), and inventory records to support various services of the project
  • Participates in meetings, webinars, events to stay up-to-date on the development and trends for women entrepreneurship
  • Supervises and supports the project team in meeting targets and delivering quality services
  • Provides monthly operation updates on items such as identifying trends, issues, and opportunities pertaining to partners relations, project activities, key performance measurements, and project compliance

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Minimum one year of experience in coordinating project/service delivery, and marketing new programs
  • Minimum one year of experience in supporting clients, in particular women in achieving entrepreneurship goals
  • Experience in writing and reviewing business and financial plans
  • Experience in business report writing and proposal writing
  • Knowledge of the regional economic ecosystem
  • Knowledge of major sectors and industries in various regions
  • Knowledge of contract management
