Job Title: Coordinator, Rapid Response Team

Based at: Herb Jamieson Centre (10014 105A Ave NW)

Reports to: Senior Manager, Health Services

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM

Job Summary: Reporting to the Senior Manager of Health Services, the RRT Coordinator will support Rapid Response Team staff as they work to respond to medical emergencies and provide follow up care including connecting them to essential services and resources internal and external to Hope Mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Rapid Response Team staff including Drivers, Paramedics, Recovery Coaches, and members of the disorder management team.
  • Coordinate staff schedules and finding coverage when needed.
  • Ongoing assessment of what needs or improvements are required for effective operations of the RRT.
  • Support team interpersonal communication and conflict resolution.
  • Align team values and activities with broader organizational goals.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience leading or managing a team of 15 people.
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • 2 years of work experience in healthcare or shelter services is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Proficient administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to exercise authority without intimidation.
  • Experience with change management is an asset.

Other Requirements:

  • Being a Christian Organization, we require our employees to be in agreement and sign the Hope Mission Statement of Faith.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada on a full-time basis.
  • Able to provide Criminal Record Checks and Vulnerable Sector Search
  • A letter of reference from a ministry or church is an asset
  • Adherence to Hope Mission’s Policies and Procedures.
