About the opportunity:
Two positions available.
As an Associate Manager, Accounts Payable at CLBC, you will lead the day-to-day operational leadership of the Accounts Payable function and will directly supervise a team of 10-14 staff. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of high-volume payments (approximately $1.7 billion annually) and recoveries, overseeing invoice verification, vendor account reconciliations, and supporting the effective resolution of payment-related issues. In this role, you will play a critical part in monitoring compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and contractual requirements, and contribute to a strong control environment by training staff and identifying operational risks.

As part of the AP Leadership team, you will support and lead departmental process improvement initiatives, including automation, system enhancements, and standardization efforts. The role collaborates closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure service excellence, operational accuracy, and continuous improvement in AP systems and performance.
