Frontlines is seeking a Program Lead to manage our Teens Program (ages 13–17). The Program Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of Frontlines’ programs by overseeing their planning, execution, and impact. This role is responsible for designing and implementing high-quality, mission-aligned programming that addresses the needs of teens in the community while fostering engagement and participation. By managing program delivery, the Program Lead contributes to the efficiency and sustainability of Frontlines’ initiatives, ensuring that programs remain responsive, well-supported, and aligned with Frontlines' strategic objectives.
Through their leadership, innovation, and commitment to program excellence, the Program Lead strengthens Frontlines’ ability to empower youth, support families, and drive meaningful change in the communities we serve.
The ideal candidate would have well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with youth participants, staff, and volunteers. They will additionally have a strong understanding of diverse cultural contexts and the ability to tailor program strategies for various communities and populations, and a proven ability to design, lead, and evaluate youth-focused programs.
Key responsibilities include:
Assesses program requirements, develops program plans, and coordinates activity schedules to ensure successful program execution
Manages the development and execution of the Teens program plan against the funding agreement
Monitors program work plan and regularly submits Program activity reports and financial reports to program funder and management as required
Supervise, train, support, and evaluate staff, placement students, and volunteers ensuring development and growth
Connect with staff from different departments to see opportunities for internal collaboration, resulting in interaction with Frontlines’ full age group of 6-29
Coordinate and build partnerships with community agencies, vendors, etc.
Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies, and provide regular reporting on compliance and program outcomes to management and relevant stakeholders
Coordinate purchases and tracking of programming supplies with the support of the Operations team
Assist the Marketing/Outreach/Communications partners in the development of promotional materials and outreach strategies to attract more participants and partners
Performs other related duties as required to support the team, program implementation, and organizational goals
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma required in Education, Community Development, Social Services, Business Administration, and/or related fields.
Minimum of two years of experience in Program or Project Management, or a similar field
Experience and sensitivity in dealing with members of diverse cultural and racial backgrounds, including visible and non-visible dimensions of diversity
Lived experience similar to the racialized and marginalized youth that we serve
Flexibility regarding assigned work hours and location
Access to a car and a valid G-class driver’s license for local travel is desirable, though not essential
Work Hours:
The standard work schedule is 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional evening and weekend shifts as required by program and organizational needs.
