If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! The Canadian Mortgage Brokers Association – British Columbia (CMBA-BC) is seeking a dedicated Member Services and Program Lead to join our team.

About CMBA-BC: The Canadian Mortgage Brokers Association – British Columbia (CMBA-BC) is the united voice of mortgage brokers in the province. We connect, empower, and advocate for our members through education, resources, and government relations. Our mission is to strengthen the mortgage broker community and help British Columbians access mortgage financing and housing solutions.

The Role: We are seeking a Member Services and Program Lead to champion the member experience and ensure the smooth delivery of our programs and events. As the first point of contact for members and the public, you will play a key role in building strong relationships, managing membership renewals, and coordinating registrations for education and events. You’ll also take ownership of office operations and provide administrative support to the CEO and team.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys working with people, and wants to take the lead in creating a seamless and positive experience for our members.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Be the first point of contact for members and public inquiries (phone, email, in-person).
  • Lead membership administration: onboarding, renewals, payments, and database accuracy.
  • Proactively support member engagement and retention efforts.
  • Manage registrations for education programs, webinars, and events.
  • Coordinate instructors, facilitators, and speakers, and provide on-site event support.
  • Maintain participant records and upload learning materials in our online platform (LearnDash).
  • Support members with troubleshooting (logins, course access, profile updates).
  • Handle day-to-day office operations: mail, cheque deposits, filing, supply orders, IT/vendor coordination.
  • Provide administrative support to the CEO, including scheduling meetings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve member programs and processes..

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years’ experience in administration, membership services, or program coordination (association or non-profit experience an asset).
  • Post-secondary education in business administration, office management, business development, or a related field preferred (experience working in the mortgage industry an asset).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Friendly and professional communicator with strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with CRMs and event registration systems an asset.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and learning management systems (e.g., LearnDash) preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative but small, dynamic team environment.

Salary Information: The salary range for this role is $54,000 to $60,000 per annum, with the starting salary dependent on experience.
