Manager of Quality Assurance

One Full-Time Contract to May 2027 (with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent)

  • Location: Aurora, Ontario L4G3S9 
    • must be within a commutable daily distance from the office and/or service area 
  • Status: Contract, Full-Time
  • Starting Hourly Rate: $45.48 / Hour
  • Office Hours: Monday - Friday - 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, 35 Hours per week
  • Office Expectations; Work in the office to provide team coverage, minimum once per week in addition to in-office meetingstrainings

Job Description


The Quality Assurance Manager at Your Support Services Network is responsible for ensuring high standards of service delivery through the auditing of program standards, identifying areas for quality improvement, and supporting continuous professional development around quality assurance. This position will also monitor program compliance, investigate and track incidents and breaches, and ensure client rights are protected in accordance with current legislation.
 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Public Health, Health Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree an asset).
  • Experience;
    • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quality improvement, and program evaluation within a social services and/or healthcare setting
    • Knowledge of privacy legislation in Ontario (e.g., PHIPA, PIPEDA)
    • Experience with audit tools, performance metrics, and quality improvement methodologies
    • Strong understanding of 988 services, crisis intervention, developmental services /mental health and addictions, access services and case management programs, including client documentation, and ethical standards in social services sector
    • Knowledgeable about accreditation practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic record-keeping systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple or completing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Project management experience is an asset
  • Experience and implementation with accreditation standards
  • Proven ability to exercise superior judgement
  • Demonstrated change management skills and ability to adapt to the ever-changing nature of the Social Services sector 
  • An understanding of cultural diversity is considered an asset
  • Second language is considered an asset

*   A valid G Drivers License, access to a reliable vehicle and adequate insurance coverage for business responsibilities, OR access to reliable transportation.
