The Development and Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in advancing the mission of Saint Luke’s Place and ensuring its long-term financial sustainability through strategic, results-driven fundraising and marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for leading efforts that strengthen donor relationships, elevate the organization’s brand visibility, and implement development programs that support growth and innovation.
Reporting to the Administrator and working closely with the Executive and Leadership Teams, the Specialist provides strategic guidance across the organization’s fundraising and marketing activities. This includes chairing key fundraising committees, aligning campaigns with organizational priorities, and ensuring that all initiatives reflect the values and vision of Saint Luke’s Place.

Please note: This role requires flexibility in hours and is not a hybrid position. On-site presence is expected at our location in Cambridge, Ontario.
Fundraising & Events: Support fundraising strategies (major gifts, corporate giving, special events). Plan and coordinate events, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and donor engagement. Identify and secure new funding from donors, grants, and sponsorships.
Donor Stewardship: Maintain donor records, track engagement, and support personalized recognition and communication efforts.
Marketing & Communications: Assist with donor messaging, fundraising materials, website content, and visual design. Ensure consistent branding across channels.
Data & Reporting: Monitor and analyze fundraising performance. Prepare donor activity and revenue reports to support strategic planning.
Collaboration & Committees: Attend fundraising committee meetings, provide updates, and work with the Administrator and leadership to support fundraising priorities
The annual salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 and will be determined based on the candidate’s experience.
