Location: Toronto, ON

The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Toronto is one of North America’s leading chapters of ACG Global, a premier professional association dedicated to driving middle-market growth. ACG Toronto brings together senior professionals across private equity, M&A, corporate development, lending, advisory, and related fields. Through high-quality events, thought leadership, and relationship-building, ACG Toronto plays a central role in supporting a vibrant deal-making ecosystem in Toronto and across Canada. With a strong membership base, a highly engaged volunteer Board, and a well-established event platform, the organization is well positioned for its next phase of leadership.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of ACG Toronto. The CEO provides strategic and operational leadership across member engagement, event strategy and delivery, Board and Committee support, and organizational operations. This is a highly visible, hands-on role, requiring close partnership with a large volunteer Board and Committee structure to ensure effective governance, strong execution, and alignment with ACG’s mission and priorities. Event management is a central component of the role, with responsibility for overseeing the planning, delivery, and ongoing evolution of ACG Toronto’s portfolio of professional events, which serve as the primary drivers of member value, sponsorship revenue, and relationship-building. The CEO will balance continuity and innovation, ensuring the organization continues to deliver consistently high-quality programming while introducing fresh ideas and approaches over time.

As the ideal candidate, you are a strong association or executive leader with the ability to organize, convene, and energize a network of senior professionals. You bring sound judgment, interpersonal maturity, and credibility, and are known for building trust-based relationships across diverse and highly engaged stakeholder groups. You are comfortable operating in a member-led, volunteer-driven environment and bring an entrepreneurial mindset, with the energy and creativity to refresh and evolve a successful organization without disrupting what works well. You have experience leading in lean or flexible operating models, coordinating multiple contributors to deliver results, and providing appropriate operational and financial oversight. As a visible representative of the organization, you lead with integrity, diplomacy, and professionalism, and are motivated by the opportunity to advance a respected professional community through strong leadership and execution.
