The MCC Research Intern is a short-term, part-time position within MCC’s Planning, Learning and Disaster Response (PLDR) department. PLDR supports organizational learning and planning, monitoring, evaluation, and impact reporting across MCC’s global programs. This role supports the collection, analysis, and synthesis of global impact data for MCC’s annual impact reporting.
This position works closely with the PLDR research analyst and is supervised by the U.S. PLDR co-director. The position is part-time and up to 120 hours total between late April and early June 2026. It is located in Winnipeg, MB. Due to the short-term nature of this position, relocation policies and benefit package do not apply.
Assignment Narrative:
Based in MCC Canada’s office in Winnipeg, the research intern will work within MCC’s planning learning and disaster response (PLDR) department to assist with the annual compilation and reporting of MCC-wide outputs and outcomes. During this three-month term, the research intern will support the collection of global MCC output and outcome data, analysis of data trends, and summary of impact information for internal reporting. The research intern will also conduct research on monitoring and evaluation best practices, tools and methods to support development of internal resources for MCC staff.
