Job Overview:
The Agency and Resource Facilitator position is a full-time (35 hours per week) position that provides safe, efficient, and well-coordinated support to the general operations of the agency. This position has dedicated responsibilities to Participant Services operations, building maintenance, and in-kind donation system coordination. The Agency and Resource Facilitator position provides timely and efficient support ensuring agency operations remain effective and consistent.
Job Conditions:
This position provides support across all of Terra’s sites but will be primarily working out of the Terra main office located at 10320-146 Street. This is a full time (35 hours/week) position with flexible hours Monday through Friday, 1-2 evenings/week, and the occasional weekend based on the needs of families and staff and to support day/evening programming.
Key Responsibilities:
Be a leader and ambassador of Terra Centre for Teen Parents by practicing in a manner that is consistent with Terra’s mission, vision, values, policies, strategic goals, and practice model.
Participate in the annual performance review process.

In-kind Donation Coordination:
Coordinate movement of clothing and other in-kind donations between Terra sites.
Act as a gatekeeper for large or bulk in-kind donations to assess suitability, space capacity, seasonal relevance, and need.
Maintain high-level inventory awareness and share updates with relevant team.
Maintain organized, safe, and functional donation intake and storage.
Assist with unloading deliveries of in-kind donations and safely transporting to storage or sorting areas.
Identify and document recurring in-kind donation system issues to support continuous improvement.
Transport excess or unsuitable items to appropriate disposal locations or partner organizations.
Food Pantry Support
Visit food bank locations as required and transport food donations between Terra sites.
Coordinate Food Pantry logistics between Terra sites and ensure the safe handling of food during transport.
Provide general support in the preparation of food for participants' use.
Facilities and Custodial Maintenance
Perform routine cleaning of offices, common areas, kitchens, washrooms, hallways, and entrances.
Empty garbage and recycling receptacles, vacuum and mop floors, dust, and clean glass surfaces.
Ensure janitorial supplies are stocked as needed and properly stored according to WHMIS regulations.
Complete seasonal ground maintenance, including lawn care and snow removal and maintenance of related equipment.
Liaise with grounds and facility maintenance vendors and contractors as required.
Coordinate and track minor repairs, maintenance requests, and preventative maintenance tasks.
Maintain a logbook of building maintenance tasks.
Conduct routine inspections of facility, grounds, and related equipment.
Transport items to appropriate disposal locations as needed.
All additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)
Experience working in custodial, landscaping, or maintenance-related roles.
General experience with conducting minor repairs and operating basic tools.
Knowledge and Abilities:
Effectively and respectfully work with others who have diverse traditions, beliefs, interpersonal styles, attitudes, and behaviors.
Ability to work flexible hours, if required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Up to date knowledge of WHMIS.
Other requirements:
Clear (or Executive Director approved) Police Information Check, renewed every 3 years
Clear (or Executive Director approved) Intervention Record Check, renewed every 3 years
Manual dexterity required to operate various appliances and equipment. Ability to lift between 25- 50 lbs.
Reliable vehicle, with valid 1 million vehicle liability insurance.
Valid Driver’s License
Clear (or Executive Director approved) Driver’s Abstract.
Valid vehicle registration.

Compensation: The starting salary for the position is $40,000 – $47,000.
Upon completion of a probationary period, we offer a comprehensive, competitive, extended health benefits package including RRSP contribution. Staff have three weeks of vacation, and, in addition, the agency is closed between Christmas and New Years.
Terra Centre also offers free onsite or street parking depending on office location. We are also a casual business attire organization.
