Position: Donor Stewardship Coordinator Salary: Program Staff (between $54,280-$72,030) Classification: Full Time (option for part-time if desired) Reports To: Key Relations and Strategy Director Start Date: Ideally early to mid-May, but flexible for the right candidate Location: In- Person at the Hamilton, Ontario Office
Position Overview:
The Donor Stewardship Coordinator will support the Key Relations Team in donor administration, mid-level and monthly donor stewardship, and provide administrative support to the Co-Impact Program. Your strong interpersonal and administrative skills will help ensure clear communication between EduDeo staff and donors, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Position Goals:
Provide administrative support to the Key Relations Team as it engages our support community.
Steward mid-level and monthly donors.
Provide logistical support for the Co-Impact Program Manager.
Work with the Executive Director and the Key Relations & Strategy Director to identify and engage key advocates of EduDeo’s mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Donor Stewardship (60%)
Assist the Executive Director, Key Relations & Strategy Director, and Church & School Relationship Manager with the creation, implementation, and maintenance of donor engagement plans.
Track and coordinate the development of major donor and foundation proposals, report backs, and updates for the Executive Director and Key Relations & Strategy Director.
Qualify and steward mid-level donors (and program volunteers), including identification, segmented communications in collaboration with the Communications Manager, and referrals to the major donor portfolio.
Recruit monthly donors by engaging EduDeo’s volunteer base and program participants.
Solicit and follow up on donor referrals from EduDeo staff, donors, and program volunteers.
Track critical team objectives and key performance indicators.
Coordinate with team members to ensure gift acknowledgments are sent in a timely manner.
When needed, assist with or represent EduDeo at support community and awareness-raising events.
Co-Impact Program Facilitation (20%)
Assist the Co-Impact Program Manager in monitoring and implementing Co-Impact travel and team administration (e.g., readiness checklists and flight bookings).
Serve as a back-up to the Co-Impact Program Manager for urgent or time-sensitive program administration matters.
Administrative Assistance(10%)
Serve as the first point of contact for the Hamilton, Ontario office.
Coordinate hosting arrangements for international partner visitors.
Organization (10%)
Actively participate as a member of the Key Relations Team (KRT).
Attend team meetings and contribute to organizational initiatives.
Assist with significant organizational events as requested.
Continue to grow through professional development opportunities.
Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Executive Director or Key Relations & Strategy Director.
Be an active participant of the Key Relations Team (KRT).
Qualifications:
Strong commitment to Jesus Christ and His church.
Alignment with the vision, mission, values, and goals of EduDeo Ministries.
Strong logistical and administrative abilities, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Highly self-motivated, ambitious, and adaptable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills within Canadian and international contexts.
College-level training in office administration, administrative assistance, or fundraising management is an asset.
International experience is an asset.
Donor administration experience within a non-profit mission or development organization is an asset.
Experience using Salesforce or other CRM systems is an asset.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Ability and willingness to travel, including occasional travel within Ontario, and up to one week of international travel annually.
