Home Share Provider Needed – Greater Victoria (Saanich, Oak Bay, Sidney, Uptown, Mayfair)

Home Sharing allows an adult with a disability to live in a supportive, community‑based home with a matched caregiver or family.

Community Living Victoria is seeking a calm, respectful, and reliable Home Share provider for a creative, community‑minded woman who will be moving into your home and will be bringing her indoor pet cat. She enjoys photography, nature, art, and gentle connection. She thrives in a relaxed home environment with clear communication and steady routines.

What She’s Looking For

• A quiet, welcoming home in Saanich, Oak Bay, Sidney, Uptown, or Mayfair
• A pet‑friendly environment
• A provider who is kind, patient, and communicative
• A balance of companionship and independence
• Wi‑Fi or internet access in the home
• If the provider prefers that pets have insurance, she is able to pay for her own cat’s pet insurance

Support Needs

• Occasional medication reminders
• Light cueing around daily routines or tidying
• Support with scheduling and, when needed, attending appointments
• Calm, steady communication
• Encouragement with routines, community activities, and personal goals

She attends a community art program twice per week.

Provider Requirements

• Must live in Greater Victoria
• Ability to welcome an adult into the home full‑time
• Experience with supportive, relationship‑based care
• Comfortable communicating with family when appropriate
• Willingness to meet CLBC Home Share Standards
• Participation in CLV’s home‑study and monitoring process
