: Person‑Centered Community Support Contractor

Community Living Victoria’s Host Agency program is seeking a consistent 1:1 contractor to spend time with a young woman who values ease, humour, imagination, and feeling comfortable with the person beside her.

This role starts with rapport — getting to know one another, finding shared moments, and building comfort at a natural pace. As trust grows, there may be opportunities to gently explore everyday life skills and confidence‑building, introduced only when she feels ready and supported.

Who You Might Be

You bring a warm, young‑at‑heart presence and enjoy connecting in a way that feels calm, genuine, and pressure‑free. You’re adaptable, light‑hearted, and able to follow the natural pace of the day.

An appreciation for anime, Sanrio, or other imaginative interests fits well with her world and supports shared enjoyment.

A background supporting adults with disabilities, particularly in community‑based or relationship‑focused contexts, is helpful.

Rather than specific credentials, what matters most is a person‑centered way of showing up — someone who listens actively, validates feelings, notices subtle cues, respects autonomy, and lets comfort guide the next step.

About the Support

Early time together may include relaxed outings, shared interests, and quiet time side‑by‑side in ways that feel natural and grounding.

She has a healthy and supportive connection with both of her parents, who work collaboratively to support her well‑being.

Both parents are hopeful that as the relationship with a contractor develops, it can naturally grow into gentle life‑skills learning and supported independence — always rooted in connection, emotional safety, and her pace.

Requirements

• Reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance for community outings
• Ability to meet Community Living Victoria’s contractor requirements (background checks, onboarding steps)
• Availability for both weekly shifts

• Saturdays, 1:00–5:00 PM
