CAMH Foundation
Vice President, Partnerships
CAMH is situated on lands that have been occupied by First Nations for millennia; lands rich in civilizations with knowledge of medicine, architecture, technology, and extensive trade routes throughout the Americas. In 1860, the site of CAMH appeared in the Colonial Records Office of the British Crown as the council grounds of the Mississaugas of the New Credit, as they were known at the time. Today, Toronto is covered by the Toronto Purchase, Treaty No. 13 of 1805 with the Mississaugas of the Credit. Toronto is now home to a vast diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis who enrich this city. CAMH is committed to reconciliation. We will honour the land through programs and places that reflect and respect its heritage. We will embrace the healing traditions of the Ancestors, and weave them into our caring practices. We will create new relationships and partnerships with First Nations, Inuit and Métis and share the land and protect it for future generations.
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Foundation (CAMH Foundation) exists to inspire philanthropy that enables leading-edge research, care, and education at CAMH—Canada’s leading hospital for mental health. At a time when mental health needs are growing in scale and urgency, the Foundation plays a critical role in advancing innovation, reducing stigma, and ensuring that care reaches those who need it most. CAMH Foundation’s newly launched 2025–2030 Strategic Plan signals a pivotal moment—not simply to grow fundraising, but to reimagine philanthropy as a true movement. As the Foundation expands its reach, diversifies its donor base, and deepens engagement across communities, partnerships with the corporate sector and broader community will be central to achieving this ambition.
It is within this context that CAMH Foundation invites nominations and applications for the role of Vice President, Partnerships, a position that will have a significant and lasting impact on the future of mental health philanthropy in Canada.
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer and serving as a key member of the Foundation’s Executive Team, the Vice President, Partnerships is responsible for advancing a national Corporate and Community Partnerships strategy that drives sustainable philanthropic growth and deepens engagement with corporate leaders, community partners, and volunteers. The role will lead the continued evolution of corporate and community philanthropy, strengthening existing relationships, expanding into new and diverse communities of support, and elevating CAMH Foundation’s national presence as a partner of choice in mental health. The Vice President is accountable not only for revenue growth, but for shaping and overseeing the corporate and community donor experience, ensuring that partnership journeys, engagement strategies, and activation plans are thoughtfully designed and executed to build meaningful, long-term relationships. This includes advancing innovative partnership models that align corporate and community priorities with CAMH’s mission and impact. The Vice President will oversee a significant portfolio of partnerships and personally steward a select group of high-value corporate partners and prospects, serving as the Foundation’s most senior corporate fundraiser. The role will also guide a high-performing team accountable for achieving ambitious annual and multi-year fundraising targets. In doing so, the Vice President contributes directly to CAMH Foundation’s strategic priorities to grow and diversify revenue streams, enhance donor experiences, and build a more inclusive and representative philanthropic community.
