Deployment Project Assistant (term position until end of March 2027 with the possibility of extension)

 

Reporting to the Family Navigator – Absences, this position is responsible for planning, organizing and supporting a variety of deployment related administrative duties and delivery of absence support programs and services for Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) family members before, during and after periods of separation.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience providing general administrative and clerical support
  • A supportive, positive approach that contributes to a team environment and delivers excellent customer service
  • Preference is given to individuals who are bilingual in French and English

 

Requirements:

  • Office administration training and one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent computer skills, exceptional communication and organizational skills along with a willingness to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends)
  • Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Successful completion of a clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Check and clear Child Welfare Intervention Check

 

The hourly rate of pay for this position is $22.11.
