Program Advisor
(Full-Time Contract Position - 35 hours per week until March 31, 2027)

WILL Employment Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Program Advisor to support the delivery and growth of complementary initiatives.
This role supports job seekers, international students, newcomers, employers, and community partners by strengthening professional networks, improving labour market attachment, and advancing intercultural competence in workplaces across our region.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Program Advisor is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day delivery of funded programs at WILL Employment Solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with job seekers, volunteers, employers, and community stakeholders while ensuring high-quality program delivery, accurate data management, and strong outcomes aligned with WILL’s mission of inclusive employment and workforce development.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, onboard, and maintain relationships with volunteers from diverse industries and sectors and match them with WILL clientele
Assess participant eligibility and readiness, facilitate appropriate matches, track progress and support engagement throughout the relationship.
Respond promptly and professionally to program inquiries from WILL clientele, volunteers and partner organizations.
Build and sustain strong referral relationships with community partners, post-secondary institutions, and employer networks.
Track program participation, activities, and outcomes using internal database systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Gather feedback and contribute to program evaluation, reporting on outcomes, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Assist with facilitating or co-facilitating the delivery of training both in-person and virtually, as appropriate.
Help support employer engagement efforts by communicating program offerings and coordinating logistics for participating in workplaces as required.
Collect participant feedback and contribute to evaluation activities to assess learning outcomes and program impact.
Maintain program documentation, attendance records, and reporting requirements for internal use and funders.
Shared Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to all participants, employers, volunteers, and partners.
Work collaboratively with WILL staff across teams to ensure coordinated service delivery and consistent messaging.
Support outreach, promotion, and recruitment efforts for both programs as needed.
Exercise sound judgement, time management, and problem-solving skills while managing multiple priorities.
Uphold WILL’s values and contribute positively to a respectful, inclusive, and professional workplace culture.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary diploma in a field related to community development, social services, education, human resources, or a related discipline.
2-3 years of experience coordinating programs, projects, or services, preferably in employment, settlement, or community-based settings.
Demonstrated understanding of intercultural competence, cross-cultural communication, and inclusive workplace practices.
Experience working with newcomers, internationally trained professionals, employers, or volunteers is a strong asset.
A proven ability to interact and work effectively with people from different cultures
and backgrounds.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Comfort using databases and Microsoft Office applications, with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
Flexibility to attend occasional off-site meetings or events.
Vulnerable Sector Police Check may be required, depending on funding requirements.
A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
