HUB Cycling is seeking two Events Coordinators to coordinate events throughout Metro Vancouver this summer. This position provides an exciting opportunity to develop event planning and volunteer coordination experience.

HUB Cycling hosts several events across Metro Vancouver to get more people cycling more often. HUB Cycling’s events celebrate cycling for transportation in fun and unique ways with the primary goal of encouraging people to make the switch to cycling for transportation.
The Events Coordinator will assist with the planning and logistics for HUB Cycling’s events throughout the busy summer season, which includes Go By Bike Week, Bike the Night, and a series of pop up activations advocating for more bike parking in the City of Vancouver. These positions are funded by Canada Summer Jobs and are subject to eligibility criteria details below.
This is a full-time summer position (30 hours/week) at $27.10/hour + 8% vacation pay, subject to Canada Summer Jobs requirements.
We have two nine-week positions available, one starting in May until July and the other starting in late June until August. Please indicate your preference in your application.

The successful candidate must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends leading up to the events.
All staff are expected to work remotely part-time. The successful candidate will need access to their own cell phone and a reliable home internet connection. Office space is available for up to three days a week at 312 Main Street, Vancouver. Staff must be reasonably available for in-person meetings and events in Metro Vancouver.
