As the organization enters a scaling phase, we are seeking a Fractional COO & Revenue Lead to operationalize systems, drive sustainable funding, and build the infrastructure required for long-term growth and impact.
This is a hands-on builder role—not just oversight, but execution.

● Design and execute a diversified funding strategy (grants, corporate, partnerships, earned revenue)
● Lead grant pipeline development and submissions (government, foundations, CSR)
● Cultivate and manage funder relationships
● Identify and secure new revenue streams aligned with Skillcity’s model
● Build repeatable fundraising systems (not one-off wins)
�� Success = consistent, predictable funding inflow
● Lead end-to-end operational oversight, including program/project delivery, coordination, and execution across all initiatives
● Ensure consistent, high-quality program delivery aligned with timelines, budgets, and funder expectations
● Establish and implement SOPs, delivery frameworks, and workflows across program operations and internal functions
● Oversee program tracking, data collection, and impact reporting systems (KPIs, outcomes, funder reports, board reporting)
● Ensure full compliance with grant requirements, reporting deadlines, and contractual obligations
● Strengthen operational infrastructure (tools, CRM, reporting systems, digital workflows) to support scale and efficiency
● Identify and resolve delivery bottlenecks, capacity gaps, and execution risks in real time

● Manage budgets, cash flow awareness, and financial planning
● Align spending with revenue realities
● Support board-level financial reporting
● Strengthen financial accountability frameworks

● Represent Skillcity with funders, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders
● Strengthen strategic partnerships (education, industry, government)
● Support visibility and positioning for funding and growth
● Ensure effective communications, brand, social, and web presence

● Provide leadership to staff and volunteers
● Build internal accountability structures
● Support team performance and alignment
�� Success = lean, effective, accountable team
● Secured new funding streams (target range to be defined collaboratively)
● Established a repeatable grant and sustainable funding pipeline
● Operational systems documented and implemented
● Improved financial visibility and reporting cadence
● Reduced Board dependency in day-to-day operations
● 7+ years in nonprofit/social enterprise leadership or operations
● Proven track record in fundraising and revenue generation (non-negotiable)
● Experience in workforce development, education, or social impact sectors
● Strong operator mindset: systems, execution, accountability
● Comfortable in ambiguity and building from evolving structures
● Strategic leader, agile, and digitally fluent
● Strong relationship builder with funders and partners
● Contract Type: Fractional (Independent Contractor)
● Term: 1 year renewable (Initial 3–4 month ramp-up with transition support)
● Time Commitment: ~3 days/week (~25-30 hours)
● Compensation: $40/hour (Up to $55,000/year) (with potential performance-based upside recommended)
