Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and serving as a member of the executive leadership team, the Vice President, Finance (VP) is the organization’s senior-most financial leader. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across finance, legal, compliance, risk management, donor services, and lease management, ensuring the long-term sustainability and resilience of the organization.
As a trusted advisor to the Executive Team and Board of Directors, the VP plays a central role in shaping strategy, enabling informed decision-making, and strengthening organizational performance. You will lead enterprise-wide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, and advance transformation initiatives that enhance effectiveness, transparency, and impact. In partnership with internal and external stakeholders, you will be the executive lead for the Finance, Audit & Technology Committee of the Board of Directors, ensure strong governance, effective risk management, and regulatory compliance. You will also oversee donor services and financial reporting, and lead enterprise risk management and business continuity while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, forward-thinking financial leader with a proven track record at the executive level. You bring deep expertise in financial management, legal, compliance, and risk, along with experience leading in complex organizations. A CPA designation is required, complemented by progressive leadership experience and a reputation for sound judgment, credibility with senior stakeholders and Boards, and the ability to translate financial insight into strategic action. You are an engaging, values-driven leader who builds trust, develops high-performing teams, and fosters an inclusive, people-first culture, with the emotional intelligence and influence to navigate complexity, inspire confidence, and lead through change in a dynamic environment.
