We are looking capable instructors to teach students at the Advanced Placement (AP) level. The position entails creating instructional materials and delivering engaging remote live lessons. The successful candidate should be able to teach children and design lessons and assessments. We require a 2.25 to 4.5-hour teaching commitment per week to begin. Classes are conducted live in the evenings. Hours will be extended based on demand. The class runs from late September/early October to late April/early May.

Experience with AP courses is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide online sessions to students preparing for standardized tests

• Develop customized study plans based on students' strengths and weaknesses

• Assist students in understanding complex concepts in various subjects

• Mentor and motivate students to reach their full potential

• Conduct practice tests and review results with students to track progress

• Offer guidance on test-taking strategies and time management skills

Experience

• Strong background in AP or IB

• Proficiency in the subjects (minimum a Bachelor’s degree)

• Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles

• Ability to develop engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs

Education

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
