About the Opportunity
Our client, a respected non-profit organization, is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Direct Mail & Annual Giving to join their Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of integrated fundraising initiatives, leading direct mail and annual giving campaigns that strengthen donor engagement and drive sustainable revenue growth.
This role will play a key part in developing compelling donor communications, supporting individual giving strategies, and delivering high-impact fundraising campaigns. It is ideal for a fundraising professional who enjoys combining project management, donor communications, campaign analysis, and data-driven decision-making to create meaningful donor experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end execution of direct mail and annual giving campaigns.
- Support integrated fundraising initiatives across direct mail, email, and digital channels.
- Develop donor communications, including appeal letters, newsletters, and stewardship materials.
- Utilize Raiser's Edge or a similar CRM to manage donor data, segmentation, and targeted campaigns.
- Support donor acquisition, retention, upgrade, and reactivation strategies through data-driven decision making.
- Coordinate relationships with print vendors, mail houses, and external partners to ensure successful campaign execution.
- Track campaign performance, analyze results, and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Monitor campaign budgets, process invoices, and provide administrative support to fundraising initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects while ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and organizational objectives are achieved.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience in annual giving, direct mail fundraising, direct response marketing, individual giving, or a related fundraising role.
- Strong understanding of direct mail and integrated digital fundraising strategies.
- Experience working with donor databases, preferably Raiser's Edge or a similar CRM platform.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional written, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience managing external vendors and project partners.
- A collaborative, proactive approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
