About the Program
The Chimo 5 Transition Home is a group care program that aims to support young people learn the skills to live full and complete lives in our community. The young people living at Chimo 5 Transition Home have status with the Alberta government - either Children’s Services or Family Supports for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) or Delegated First Nation Agencies (DFNA). The Chimo 5 program prepares young people to return to living with their families or to transition to adult living situations and adult services (i.e. Persons with Developmental Disabilities, AISH)
Please note: This position requires regular driving within the community and participation in a three-week rotating schedule that includes evening, overnight, weekend, and 24-hour shifts. Successful applicants must hold a valid Alberta Driver's Licence, have at least three (3) years of driving experience, maintain a clean three-year Driver's Abstract and Driving Record with no at-fault claims, have access to a reliable vehicle, and provide a current Police Information Check and Child Intervention Record Check as a condition of employment.

The rotation includes a combination of day, evening, overnight (night), weekend, and 24-hour shifts to provide continuous support for youth. Successful applicants must be available and able to work all shifts included in the rotation.
