KidSport Lacombe County is a local non-profit-organization that manages a fee assistance program called KidSport's 'So ALL Kids Can Play!' Grant Program, subsidizing sport registration fees for kids who come from families that face financial hardship. We envision a Canada where all children have the opportunity to participate in sport. KidSport provides grants to help cover registration costs to ensure that no kid is ever left watching from the sidelines.
Role Description
This is a volunteer remote role for a Community Representative at KidSport Lacombe County. As a
Community Representative, you will be responsible for representing KidSport in the local community and promoting our mission and initiatives. Your tasks will include building relationships with community organizations, coordinating fundraising activities, and advocating for equal access to sports for all children.
This is a flexible role that allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of children in your community. The Community Rep acts as the primary relationship builder between KidSport Lacombe County and the athletic associations in your community. The term is Two (2) years. The Community Rep may serve 3 consecutive terms as the Community Representative. Once these terms have been completed the Community Rep may step into another Board position.
