Volunteer Posting 2003

Event Day Volunteers - 2025 Fraser Valley MS Walk
MS Canada
Vancouver & Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley
Langley
specific event
closes in 29 days (Fri, 23 May)

The 2025 Fraser Valley MS Walk takes place on Sunday, May 25th at 11:00 AM at Douglas Park, 20550 Douglas Crescent, Langley, BC.

MS Walk is a one-day, community-driven fundraising event for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS). Every year, we come together in over 50 locations across Canada to build awareness for MS and raise funds to support ground-breaking research and programming. This is a great place to forge meaningful connections while working toward a world free of MS!

These events would not be possible without the support of hundreds of dedicated volunteers donating their time and talents. There are various areas on site (event set up/wrap up, parking guide, participant check in area, checkpoint attendants, route marshal’s, food & beverage area, kids activity area, start/finish line cheer squad, volunteer check in) where volunteer help is needed to ensure that this event runs smoothly and participants have a great experience.

Thinking about volunteering? Here’s what we are looking for:

  • Do you have a positive attitude and enjoy bringing positive energy to events?
  • Are you passionate about supporting the MS community?
  • Are you a self-motivated and reliable person?
  • Are you willing to fulfill volunteering duties on time?
  • Are you keen to attend the event in person on Sunday, May 25 for anywhere between 2 hours-8 hours?

If you answered ‘yes’ to the above, we’d love to hear from you!

Why Volunteer?

  • Gain valuable experience and skills by supporting the organization of a well‐recognized signature event while working with experienced organizing team members using comprehensive resources
  • Contribute your time to an important cause and see your impact on the organization
  • Obtain a reference letter
  • Build a strong network and connect with the MS community
