The Eating Disorder Support Network of Alberta (EDSNA) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate support, education, and connection for individuals and families impacted by eating disorders. EDSNA focuses on system-level support and outreach.

The Opportunity
EDSNA is seeking new Board members with an accounting background who are passionate about advancing mental health support systems and committed to strong, accountable governance.
New members are anticipated to be onboarded as a Director at Large, and up for election to the role of Treasurer at the May 2026 AGM (or as need dictates before then).
We are particularly interested in individuals with expertise in the following areas:
Accounting -- Professional CPA/CA or other relevant accounting/finance designation is preferred
Experience in the following areas is also considered an asset:
Familiarity with technology-enabled service delivery (e.g., CRM systems, online outreach platforms) is considered a bonus.
Prior experience serving on a Board of Directors is welcomed. We encourage applications from candidates who demonstrate a readiness to engage in governance responsibilities and a commitment to strategic, high-impact contribution.

Attendance at regular Board meetings (currently monthly)
