When the Village Meditates envisions a world where Black and marginalized communities are healing, thriving, and leading lives rooted in stillness, compassion, and liberation.

Are you passionate about advancing access to collective healing and spaces that are rooted in liberation, empowerment, compassion, and cultural affirmation for Black people and other marginalized groups? Do you have experience in financial management, nonprofit governance, and/or fundraising?
If so, we invite you to apply to join the Board of Directors of When the Village Meditates.
We are looking to recruit new Board members to fulfill one of the following roles: President (1), Vice-President (1), Secretary (1), Treasurer (1) or Director at large. We are especially interested in folks who align with our values and vision.

Length of Involvement: A Board Member commits to serve a one-year term (for member at large position). Terms can be renewed at our annual AGM.
Time commitment: 5 - 10 hours per month to support committee work. Board meetings are held quarterly and virtually. Committee meetings frequency may vary depending on the committee.

Have a passion for creating healing and care offerings for Black and marginalized communities in Montreal (and beyond)
Have the availability, and ability to attend board meetings and engage in committee work (fundraising, finance, etc.)
